Providing Home Care

Finding the best home care for your loved ones can be challenging. Each provider’s services will vary, so selecting the options that best suit your needs will differ from one person to the next.

Home care professionals provide two types of Activities of Daily Living (ADL'S). Depending on the individual’s ability to carry out ADL’s these services will range from Instrumental ADL’s to Basic ADL’s.

“Our most sincere compliments to Irish Help at Home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the care you and your staff provided for our mother. We will be in touch again in future should she need any more care.”

Instrumental ADL’s

Depending on each case, some clients may have difficulty remembering food safety, or they may not be able to comfortably cook their own meals due to mobility problems or even arthritis.

Those who have trouble preparing their own meals can have meal preparation and clean-up taken care of for them. Some clients have errands to run and shopping to do, like dry-cleaning or grocery shopping, and these kinds of errands can be covered by our in-home care caregivers.

Housekeeping is another option provided by caregivers; these services normally include light housework and laundry. In addition to the need for basic at-home tasks, home care providers have services for transporting clients, eliminating the troubles of having to find a reliable driver for your loved one. These transportation services ensure that clients are able to visit their friends, relatives, and attend medical appointments.
